 Marketing Manager 

 

As the Marketing Manager (MM), you will be responsible for the successful development and execution of marketing campaigns for the Online Program Management (OPM) partner school(s) that you are assigned to. You will be accountable for developing budgets, creating marketing plans and coordinating the execution of those plans to achieve key results for their portfolio. While this role does not include any direct reports, leadership and close collaboration is expected with internal channel experts in order to implement marketing tactics, analyse performance, and identify actions needed to meet objectives. As the MM, you are primarily accountable for achieving cost-effective student inquiry volume targets and secondarily for identifying and capturing target students who not only enroll but persist and graduate.

 

As the Marketing Manager, you will gain a deep understanding of the partner’s brand, programs and competition. You should be able to bring to Keypath Education an entrepreneurial spirit, critical thinking and a synergistic mindset.  In addition, a working knowledge of various marketing channels and tools used to creative effective campaigns such as marketing research, creative, PPL, digital media, SEO, email marketing, web site development and social media with a focus on ROI for lead generation is desired.

Responsibilities

  • Working with an Associate Director of Marketing, the Marketing Manager will be responsible for successful program marketing launches
  • Dotted line relationship with the OPM’s Managing Director for all partner marketing services
  • Develop deep understanding of partner programs
    • Brand
    • Target student
    • Competitors
    • Value prop/differentiation by program
    • Goals, objectives and constraints
  • Communicate strategy and direction for partner school to internal resources
  • Manage marketing campaign execution
    • Understand and communicate partner program brand and target students
    • Set and update campaign performance expectations for internal teams
    • Monitor KPIs to ensure planned performance expectations are met
    • Review creative and project status plans and escalate issues as necessary
    • With internal teams, develop and monitor testing plans

Accountable for:

  • Influencing key performance metrics including front-end inquiry volume and CPI targets, as well as new student pipeline progression
  • Adjusting marketing plans to meet enrollment forecasts
  • Impacting the full student experience through cross functional initiatives

Qualifications

Education: Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Advertising, Business, or related field of study

 

Experience:

3+ years demonstrated experience in the following:

  • Successful account management showing retention, growth and profitability
  • Proven ability to interpret data from multiple sources and translate into successful campaigns
  • Strong presentation skills to internal and external clients at all levels
  • Media and integrated marketing savvy
  • Experience managing budgets and expenses
  • Demonstrated critical thinking skills, decision-making, and problem-solving skills

Special Requirements Specific to Job:

Technical skills: Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite including Outlook, Word, Excel, Power Point. Experience with CRM.
