Keypath is looking to hire a Sr. Marketing Data Analyst for their IT Team.


The Senior Marketing Data Analyst will work closely with the Principal Architect and members of the Data Analytics and Marketing teams to support the delivery of tactical and strategic marketing analytic solutions. The Senior Marketing Data Analyst will conduct analysis of Marketing data trends and research; and collaborate with marketing stakeholders to turn discovered insights into operational knowledge and enhancement. The Senior Marketing Data Analyst will participate in the translation of business requirements into solutions that deliver business insights via the conversion of data into actionable information. Additionally, the Senior Marketing Data Analyst will be a team expert in the development of data visualization, reporting and advanced analytic solutions.


Suitable candidates will have demonstrated real world experience analyzing marketing data and business requirements to drive analytic solutions and contribute to a data driven marketing strategy and culture. This includes the full data analysis lifecycle from data analysis, sourcing, integration, storage and consumption. Candidates will have demonstrated the ability to understand specific data needs for analytic and reporting solutions, and then have aptitude in the development of associated data models to support data visualization, reporting and advanced analytics.


COVID UPDATE: We are working to finalize our long-term WFH policy; you can expect to spend a maximum of 2 days in the office when we do reopen.


  • Regularly analyze data, providing insights to solve real world business problems, interpreting and reporting results of analysis to stakeholders in leadership and marketing.
  • Develop reporting and analytic solutions that drive business insights and support organizational decision making.
  • Build predictive models to enable proactive marketing communications.
  • Develop consumer personas and segments to facilitate the deployment of targeted and personalized marketing content and interactions.
  • Use web and social media analytic tools to identify opportunities to improve online interactions.
  • Work with marketing business sponsors to develop information and data requirements based on feedback and reporting needs.
  • Define and create data and analytic models to support self-service analysis and reporting initiatives.
  • Support marketing business sponsors to ensure self-service reporting UAT testing is completed and deployed analytic solutions are adopted.
  • Successfully engage in and manage multiple initiatives simultaneously.
  • Participate in the rollout of analytic solutions to production, including planning, training and drafting of associated documentation


Education:  Minimum BS/BA Degree, preferably in a Technology, Computer Science, Mathematics or Statistics related discipline





  • 4+ years of data analytics experience with a proven history of successfully, developing and deploying marketing data and analytic solutions.
  • Experience analyzing and researching marketing data, including multi-channel attribution, cost-per/funnel analysis, web parameters, Keyword/Ad/UTM optimization, etc.
  • Knowledge of and experience developing and implementing data visualizations, dashboards, data automation and reporting systems.
  • Strong problem solving, quantitative and analytical abilities, capable of learning new technologies quickly.
  • Excellent communication skills effectively translating data analysis concepts to a business audience.
  • Familiarity with multiple data modeling techniques and methodologies (Dimensional, Relational, Modern Data Warehousing).
  • Familiarity with data transformation concepts (ETL vs. ELT).
  • Familiarity with data packaging concepts (Cubes, Tabular Models, etc.).
  • Ability to collaborate effectively and work as part of a team.


Technical skills:


  • Advanced to Expert proficiency with Microsoft Power BI data visualization tool.
  • Deep experience with Microsoft Excel, pivot tables, charts and power query.
  • Knowledge of Microsoft database and analytics technologies (SQL/TSQL, SSIS, SSRS, SSAS and Power BI).
  • Experience with Microsoft Data Analysis Expressions (DAX).
  • Experience with predictive analytics platforms, software, languages and libraries such as Azure ML, SAS, Python, R strongly desired.
