    About the role

    You will play a key role in shaping the success of UK online higher education over the coming years. We are determined to be the sector’s foremost ‘online enabler’ and will be delivering courses for some of our nation’s best institutions.

    The Recruitment Advisor role will be responsible for facilitating prospective students through the application process for their university of choice. The Advisor will ascertain the needs and objectives of a prospective student through a series of telephone interviews and help the student determine if the Course and/or University is a fit for the student. The Advisor will also support the applicant through the admissions and enrolment process to ensure the student meets all university requirements and deadlines. This will require the Recruitment Advisor work a minimum of one 11:30 to 8:00 PM shift per week, ideally working two.

    Responsibilities

    • Communication with prospective students through a variety of channels, including phone calls, emails, texts etc, regarding the University and Course.
    • Follow Keypath Education and university guidelines for lead management and moving leads through the different statuses in the CRM.
    • Advising students using a consultative process to ensure the student has all the information to make an informed decision about the University and courses.
    • Support students through the admissions and potentially the enrolment process.
    • Use the CRM database to track student progress and any communication with applicants
    • Achieve daily metrics surrounding the number of calls per day, speed to lead metrics, talk time per applicant and number of applications per day as set by the Head of Student Recruitment
    • Communicate industry trends, course differentiators/factors and applicant feedback in internal cross-functional meetings and to the marketing team
    • Actively participate in internal or external team meetings
    • Audit the database regularly to make sure that the student statuses align with their situation and progress, ensure all leads are being followed up and are tracked accordingly
    • Support in the forecasting of application and student recruitment forecasts
    • Work with the marketing team to build internal cultivation plans to revitalise the database
    • Willingness to work shift patterns (evenings and weekends) to support dialing strategies

    Qualifications

    Education: Bachelor’s degree preferred.

    Experience:

    • 2- 3 years’ experience ideally in student recruitment/sales
    • General knowledge of Higher Education International experience preferred
    • Technically proficient in CRM and CMS systems
    • Goal oriented and proven ability to meet recruitment targets
    • Demonstrated critical thinking skills, decision-making, and problem-solving skills
    • Excellent written and verbal communications skills including the ability to successfully work with all levels of management
    • Proven ability to effectively provide training and explain processes and procedures
    • Knowledge of planning processes and issues
