  • Overview

    The Project Lead, IT Software Development is responsible for overseeing multiple software development projects throughout the entire lifecycle, from initial request through post implementation follow-up. The  Project Lead, IT Software Development will be highly organized, able to multi-task and prioritize demands in a sometimes high-pressure environment. They will have a firm grasp of details with an ability to relate details to a big picture view. They will possess the skills and personality to drive a team to meet deadlines. The  Project Lead, IT Software Development will be innovative in seeking out opportunities for creating and improving on efficiencies. The  Project Lead, IT Software Development will be able to manage and challenge upwards when needed and make decisions, and be an effective and clear communicator.


    • Design and develop technical solutions based on functional business requirements, utilizing Microsoft Dynamics CRM development and customization, web application development, front end development (java script, java script libraries/frameworks, html), enterprise applications using C#, .Net,, Web services, WCF services. Document system designs using Microsoft Visio and UML.
    • Develop database solutions using Microsoft SQL server, TSQL and SSIS.
    • Provide process improvements leveraging knowledge in domain driven design architecture, team foundation server and full software lifecycle.
    • Design and architect software using Microsoft Dynamics CRM on Premises, MVC and entity framework.
    • Lead projects, mentoring less experienced developers, assign development tasks and perform code reviews.
    • Manage the software deployment process, ensuring proper change management controls.



    Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Computer Information Systems, Management Information Systems, Computer Science or a related field.



    7 years of experience in:

    • Software development using C#, .Net,
    • Microsoft SQL Server, TSQL and SSIS experience
    • Using front end technologies and frameworks (java script, java script libraries/frameworks, html)
    • Documentation of systems and software designs using Microsoft Visio
    • Designing and developing web services including WCF services


    1 year of which must include:

    • Customizing, developing, integrating and administering Microsoft Dynamics CRM (on Premises)
    • Leading software development projects or teams, mentoring software developers and delegating tasks
    • Designing, leading and executing software deployment processes
    • Developing software applications using MVC and Microsoft Entity Framework


    Position is in Schaumburg, Illinois but will also consider remote workers in the states of Arizona, California, Oregon, Colorado, Kansas, Missouri, Minnesota, Michigan, Indiana, Ohio, Tennessee, Georgia, and Florida.


    Travel:  5% to headquarters and/or domestic worksites.
